Programme Overview
Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology (PGDCC)
PGDCC is designed as the ideal starting point for doctors entering the fields of cosmetology and trichology. The program begins with a strong foundation in the anatomy and physiology of skin and hair, followed by an understanding of their structure, function, and natural life cycles. Doctors are trained to recognize age-related changes in skin, muscle tone, and facial framework, along with mastering the art of patient assessment and first consultation. This builds the clinical thinking required to plan safe, customized, and effective treatment protocols.
In the practical modules, doctors are introduced to a wide range of treatment indications and device-based procedures. Training includes MDA, chemical peels, lasers, cautery, acne and pigmentation management, along with the use of advanced machines such as HIFU, mesoporation, and microneedling. Participants also gain exposure to multiple cosmetology procedures, learning correct technique, indications, and safety protocols to confidently perform treatments in real clinical settings.
